Stockport Live Well

Councillors Wardlaw, Wild and I attended the Central Neighbourhood Live Well Network this morning.

There were representatives of the NHS, local GPs, GMP, Stockport Homes, Stockport Council and a number of other organisations and charities.

We had really useful sessions on how we can promote the services we have here in Stockport, how we can learn from each other and how we can ensure everyone gets the right support at the right time.

The Central Neighbourhood covers a large number of people, over 50,000 and we need a fairer share of these events to ensure our residents do not get short-changed.
