On May 8th 1945 residents across Manor Celebrated Victory in Europe Day.
After 6 years of war it was time to celebrate.
Across Stockport today we will be celebrating this important day and remembering those ordinary men and women who did extraordinary things to secure the end of the fascist grip on Europe.
