It was an honour to be invited down to Westminster to visit Navendu Mishra and watch Prime Ministers Question Time.
Nav and I had a good discussion on all things Stockport, from housing and parking to children’s services and employment.
Whilst Manor is not in the Stockport constituency any more it is great to have a representative in Parliament who will stand up for the whole of Stockport and today Nav asked a question on ensuring we get the social housing we need across the whole of Stockport and asked the government to consider freezing right to buy whilst we get back on the right footing.
Housing is a crisis we can solve and the next 12 months in Stockport are going to be very important as we agree our local plan.
