Celebrating the small wins

Celebrating the small wins.

Too often we forget to take a moment to celebrate things that may not make headlines or good click bait, but do make a difference to people's lives.

Charles Street had been due money spent on it from the Lidl development, unfortunately it had been pushed down the list for a number of years by the council. We wanted to deliver an upgrade to residents, and based our requests on many conversations.

Over the last 6 months that had included resurfacing the road, creating a cycling cut through at the road blockage and improving that area with some lovely planters. It took more emails and discussions than you would imagine to get these finishing touches but we got there. 👏

Back to bins 🙈 after a significant number of days over recent months where the bins were overflowing, Laura and I have managed to secure an upgrade to a number of bins and a reutilisation of the old bins elsewhere.

We are working on many things at the moment which we hope will come to fruition over the coming months.

As always please get in touch for any support or with any issues.
