🌷 Happy International Women's Day! 🌷

Today I want to take a moment to celebrate two remarkable women I am proud to call friends and colleagues, fellow Manor Ward councillors Councillor Sue Glithero, Manor Ward and Councillor Laura Clingan, Manor Ward.

Sue and Laura have spent years fighting for fairness and standing up for Manor Ward without any fuss or fanfare, but with true loyalty and unwavering conviction. At a time when politics can feel fractious and aggressive, they just keep going, out every week, on the doorsteps, doing the work. I consider myself lucky to have joined their team two years.

On a day that reminds us to celebrate women's achievements and push for a more equal world, I can't think of two better people to shout about.

Happy International Women's Day to Sue, Laura, and every woman making a difference in Stockport and beyond.
