It's been a busy 2025 for Sue, Laura and I, it's impossible to capture in a few photos, but here is a selection from the last 12 months.

As always we have continued our weekly doorstep surgeries across the ward ensuring we can support residents and help improve the area based on their priorities.

We have picked up plenty of litter, attended 100s of meetings and sent 1000s of emails on behalf of residents.

One particular key area this year is to improve the safety of our roads, this was a key election pledge. In the next few months the Knypersley Road area will be converted to 20mph, this is based on the issues raised by residents since the area moved into our ward. We have a new Speed Indicator Device active, currently it is on Nangreve Road, but will move around the ward. a new permanent speed indicator will be installed on Graham Road in the next few months. We have seen additional signage and monitoring of the speed limit around Curzon & Montagu, including enforcement by police.

We also led the call for the council to improve road safety across the borough including investing in 20 is plenty, this motion was passed at full council.

We called for a reduction in speed and an implementation of red light cameras on St Mary's Way due to the number of crashes.

We spoke out and committed the council on action to reduce Domestic Abuse and all Violence against Women and Girls.

We led the opposition to the way the Lib Dem administration implemented the new car park charges across the borough, unfortunately they pushed this through.

And more... but most of all we stood up for those who have no voice, for those who need support and for those who are vulnerable.

Happy new year to all.

We will continue to be here in 2026, social media is never the best place to raise an issue so if you need us please use the details on the link.
