It was an honour to be invited to CMA - Cheadle Masjid as part of Visit My Mosque weekend.
Councillor Sue Glithero, Manor Ward, Navendu Mishra , Councillor Laura Clingan, Manor Ward and I spent time having a tour of the worship and community facilities, learnt about how the Mosque works and tried some cultural experiences such as Hena art.
Understanding and communicating between people of all faiths and none is how we strengthen our society.
There is no place for hate.
Thank you for having us.
