It was great to speak to Lucy Powell MP earlier today and hear how if she becomes our new Deputy Leader she will be the voice of members, councillors and our communities across the whole of government.

As Lucy said we have to take the narrative back and ensure our Labour values set the direction of change, not those of the right wing media and parties.

For our country, for our communities and for our party I am backing Lucy to be the next Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
