Last night at Full Council I challenged the Lib Dem administration on their failure to deliver for our children.

The playground upgrade at Woodbank Park has been fully funded — £136,000 sitting there for over two years. No final design. No work on the ground. Nothing. I've identified a suitable location for a wheelchair-accessible swing in Manor Ward and the funding to pay for it. Again, nothing.

Let me be blunt — this is not a money problem. The money is there. The Lib Dems running this council simply cannot deliver. 4 years in charge and the pattern is always the same: promises made, money allocated, children still waiting.

How many more summers do our kids have to lose before this administration gets its act together?
