Last night was Full Council, I will update over the weekend on some other important discussions, but I felt it was important to raise the import issue of Racism and how the flags that have been put up around our ward have not been done to foster a sense of community, but to cause division.

My inbox has been innundated by people asking for them to be taken down and I will continue to press for this to happen.

Our flags unite us during major sporting event, moments of remembrance and at time of national significance, we should not allow them to be used to create division.
