Now the elections are over Councillor Laura Clingan, Manor Ward and I are able to provide an update on the new play equipment at Woodbank Park.

The contract has been awarded and provisional timelines have everything completed well before the summer holidays, we will be getting specific timelines once the project kick off meeting has happened.

Initial site plans here include picnic benches and paths to the equipment. This is all on top of the existing equipment at the park which will be serviced and maintained. We are also waiting on more detail drawings on the accessible sections of the play equipment to make sure it is up to scratch.

We will update you once we have confirmed dates.
