This mornings doorstep surgery was around the St Mary's Way end of Turncroft Lane and some of the small roads around.

We updated residents on the work we have done with the Police and the Council to enforce the Public Space Protection Order which prohibits car cruising, this was blighting many peoples evenings and nights last year and we ensured it was stopped. However this seems to have restarted in recent weeks so we have asked GMP to restart active enforcement.

We also discussed the major litter and flytipping issues around the green bridge and old school sports ground. We will continue to ask for enforcement again those who cause this issue and ensure the mess is cleared up asap.

Finally this Thursday it is Area Commitee where our Councillor Call for Action will be heard, we will report back, but it is a public meeting so anyone is able to attend to watch, 6pm Thursday at the town hall.
