This weekend we have been speaking to residents around Victoria Avenue.
It has been a difficult week for residents along there with the emergency sewer works on Turncroft. As soon as the road was closed on Monday we asked highways to liaise with United Utilities to ask for no access signage and more diversion signs. These were provided but unfortunately many people have been ignoring them.
We spoke to the emergency team yesterday to get signs replaced after some have been moved and ensure that the road is reopened as soon as possible this week.
This week was also our Area Committee Meeting where we agreed to provide a grant to a newly starting Friends of Woodbank Memorial Park for tools and training, we also approved the 20 mph scheme on the residential roads around Knypersley Avenue.
As always please get in touch with any issues, we try to monitor Facebook posts and comments but with so many groups and posts if you need a quick response out contact details are on the link.
