But that doesn't stop Councillor Laura Clingan, Manor Ward and I from speaking to and supporting residents.
Antisocial behaviour, illegal activity, travel support, housing support and licencing are just some of the issues we have supported residents with this week.
It was also full council at which the Stockport Labour Group motion to provide full council tax relief to those with a terminal diagnosis in the last 12 months of their life was passed, we look forward to this being in the next budget.
Unfortunately whilst a motion supporting our LGBTQ+ community ahead of this month's Stockport Pride received cross party support it was not supported by both Reform councillors. The speech from Councillor Battle should remind all why pride is needed.
There were many powerful speeches from many people including our Laura.
The Mayoral By-election postal votes will land this week most likely so keep an eye out for those.
