Saturday mornings are for speaking to residents.
It’s warmer than it looks out there, we stopped for a rest in one of the Local Areas of Play on Strawberry Avenue whilst speaking to residents today. I’ve mentioned before these spaces are not up to scratch and I will continue to work with the council and Stockport homes to improve these spaces for the local children and get some litter bins installed so rubbish, particularly dog poo can be disposed of.
We have been working with highways to resolve some of the parking issues and it was good to get more detail from residents, we will hopefully get an update in the next month or so.
Also speaking to residents around Gatsby we are already aware of the poor repairs after the recent drain work, we raised this with SHG and will chase again.
