In a world in which we are once again increasingly focusing on the differences between people, it is important to remind ourselves that we are one species, one humanity. As the late Jo Cox said in her maiden speech to parliament
we are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us
Either in politics, the workplace, education or our communities we are stronger when we are inclusive, we are stronger when we lift each other up and when we focus on what binds us together.
